How Does IJMB 2022 Work?

IJMB programme allows you as a prospective student to choose three courses/subject combinations that are related to the course you will likely study at your desired University.

Aspiring candidates would then be lectured for the given period at their respective study centers. Thereafter sit for the final examination that will be proven if they are eligible to be offered admission.

It is mandatory that prospective students score at least 5 points in their IJMB exams to be considered eligible for the 200 level.

Upon completion of the programme, successful candidates accordingly utilize their IJMB certificate to secure admission into 200 level in any Nigerian tertiary institution via the Direct Entry mode of admission.

What is the IJMB programme Duration?

It is a 9-month-long programme. Lectures are scheduled to start between March and April and then run through the whole academic year.

IJMB exams start around January or the first week of February in the following academic year.

In addition to that, the registration starts around November and ends in April of the following year.

1. In IJMB, there are no restrictions on the categories of subjects be it Science, Arts, or social science. Everyone is accepted to apply as long as they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
